🪂 How Parasailing Works – Safe, Easy, Thrilling
Parasailing is one of the most accessible adventure sports. You will be seated in a harness attached to a parachute canopy. The other end of the rope is connected to a powerful speedboat. As the boat accelerates, the wind lifts you gently into the air. You will ascend gradually to the desired height (up to 80 metres). Once at altitude, you’ll enjoy a smooth, quiet flight – only the sound of the wind and the incredible views. The boat will slow down to lower you back onto the deck for a dry landing. The entire process is controlled by a professional crew with years of experience. You do not need to swim or jump off the boat. Tandem flights (two people flying together) are very popular for couples and parents with children.
📅 Detailed Itinerary – Your Parasailing Adventure
Hotel Pickup & Transfer
Your driver picks you up from your Hurghada hotel and transfers you to the water sports marina (approx. 15‑30 minutes).
Arrival & Safety Briefing
At the marina, meet your parasailing crew. Sign a waiver, receive a safety briefing, and put on a life jacket. You can leave belongings in the lockers or on the boat.
Boat Ride to Take‑off Area
Board the speedboat. The crew will prepare the parasail equipment. The boat cruises to an open water area away from swimmers and obstacles (approx. 10‑15 minutes).
Parasailing Flight (10‑15 minutes)
You will be fitted into the harness. The boat accelerates, and you lift off gently. Enjoy the flight – take photos (bring a GoPro or use the crew’s camera). The crew will ask if you want to go higher or dip your feet in the water (optional).
Landing & Photo Viewing
The crew lowers you smoothly onto the boat deck. If you purchased the photo/video package, you can view and buy the media immediately.
Return Transfer to Hotel
Boat returns to the marina, and your driver takes you back to your hotel.
Insider Tips: Wear your swimsuit under light clothes – you may get splashed. The morning hours (9‑11 AM) offer calmer wind and smoother flights. Absolutely. Our crew is licensed and experienced. All equipment is regularly inspected. The boat and parasail are designed with safety as the top priority. Life jackets are worn throughout.

Maximum combined weight for tandem flights is 180 kg (400 lbs). Solo flights up to 120 kg (265 lbs). Please inform us of any concerns.
👶 Can children parasail?
Yes – children aged 6+ can fly tandem with an adult. Children pay the same adult rate of $30 per person.
🌊 Do I need to know how to swim?
No – the landing is dry (on the boat deck). You never enter the water unless you choose the optional "dip" (and you can decline that). Life jackets are provided.
📸 Can I take my own camera or phone?
Yes, but we strongly recommend a wrist strap or a GoPro mounted to your wrist. Dropped phones are not recoverable. The crew offers a professional photo/video package at reasonable cost.
🕒 What is the exact pickup time?
Pickup is typically between 9:00‑10:00 AM or 1:00‑2:00 PM, depending on wind conditions. You'll receive exact timing via WhatsApp or email a day before.
