DAY 1
🏛️ Arrival Luxor – East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temples (Evening Illumination)

Arrive at Luxor International Airport. Neptune Tours representative greets you. Private transfer to your hotel (or directly start touring). Visit the colossal Karnak Temple – the largest religious complex ever built. Walk through the Hypostyle Hall with 134 giant columns. Then continue to Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated after sunset. Optional sound and light show at Karnak. Check into hotel. Overnight Luxor.

DAY 2
⚰️ West Bank Deep Dive: Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens & Tombs of the Nobles

Cross the Nile to the West Bank. First: Valley of the Kings – visit 3 royal tombs (including Ramses IV and Merenptah). Then Valley of the Queens – see the stunning tomb of Nefertari (extra ticket, highly recommended) or other queens. Next: Tombs of the Nobles – explore the beautifully decorated tombs of ancient administrators (e.g., Ramose, Userhat) with vivid daily life scenes. End at the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch at a local West Bank restaurant. Return to hotel. Overnight Luxor.

DAY 3
🛥️ Embark Luxury Dahabiya – Sail to Esna (Nile Breeze & Sundeck)
Private dahabiya Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Morning: checkout and transfer to the Nile to board your private luxury dahabiya (traditional Egyptian sailboat, with 4‑6 cabins, en‑suite bathrooms, and sun deck). Meet the crew and captain. Set sail towards Esna, passing rural villages, farmers, and birdlife. Lunch on board. Afternoon: stop at a secluded island for a swim or walk. Learn about the art of sailing without engines. Evening: traditional dinner and stargazing on the deck. Overnight near Esna lock.

DAY 4
🐎 Edfu Temple (Horse Carriage) – Sail to Gebel el-Silsila (Sandstone Quarries)
Morning excursion Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Morning sail to Edfu. From the dahabiya, take a horse‑drawn carriage (fun and authentic) to the Temple of Horus – best preserved cult temple in Egypt. Explore its pylons, hypostyle hall, and the granite shrine. Return to the boat. Continue sailing to Gebel el-Silsila, an ancient sandstone quarry that supplied stone for many temples. Visit the rock‑cut chapels and stelae of Horemheb and Seti I. Swimming break in the Nile (safe spots). Dinner on board. Overnight near Silsila.

DAY 5
🐊 Kom Ombo (Double Temple) – Sail to Aswan – Farewell Dinner on Board

Early morning sail to Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to Sobek (crocodile god) and Haroeris (falcon god). Visit the temple and the Crocodile Museum (mummified crocs). Then sail towards Aswan, passing lush riverbanks. Arrive in Aswan by late afternoon. Disembark for a short city tour (optional: visit the Unfinished Obelisk or Nubian Museum). Evening: Farewell dinner on board or at a traditional Nile restaurant – celebrate your Upper Egypt journey. Overnight in Aswan hotel (or optional extension). End of services next morning.
