Welcome to Cairo! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Cairo Top Tours representative will meet you with a sign. Private transfer in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Giza. During check-in, you'll receive a briefing and all information about your excursions. Welcome drink included.
Visit the Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, Mycerinus) and the Great Sphinx — one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Then explore the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) with the treasures of King Tutankhamun. In the afternoon, discover Coptic Cairo: the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue to Islamic Cairo to visit the Citadel and mosques. End with a stroll through Khan el-Khalili bazaar.
Transfer to Cairo Airport and fly to Luxor. Welcome and transfer to your 5-star Nile cruise (direction Luxor → Aswan). After lunch on board, visit the East Bank: the mighty Karnak Temple (the largest temple complex in the world) and the Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight on board.
Optional: Hot air balloon flight over Luxor (surcharge). After breakfast, visit the West Bank: the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings (with tombs of pharaohs, including Tutankhamun and Ramses II) and the impressive Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Return to the ship for lunch while sailing south to Edfu. Evening entertainment with music and belly dancing on board.
Morning visit to the Temple of Edfu, the best-preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. Return to the ship and sail to Kom Ombo. Afternoon visit to the double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek (crocodile) and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Aswan. Evening Nubian show on board.
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam — one of modern Egypt's greatest engineering projects. Continue to the granite quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, take a boat to Agilkia Island to visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Return to the ship. Dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Optional: Excursion to Abu Simbel (surcharge — by bus or flight) to see the impressive temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. On arrival, private transfer to your hotel in Giza. Rest of the day at leisure.
Final breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time before being transferred to Cairo International Airport. Assistance with check-in and farewell. End of your unforgettable Egypt journey.
