Upon arrival at Cairo airport, your Neptune Tours representative (holding a sign) greets you with a flower garland and assists with fast-track entry. Private deluxe transfer to hotel. Evening: 2-hour Nile Maxim dinner cruise – feast on international & Egyptian buffet while whirling dervishes and belly dancers perform against glittering Cairo skyline. Start with sunrise views of the Great Pyramids of Giza – enter the necropolis, marvel at Cheops, Chephren & Mycerinus. Visit the mysterious Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then walk into history at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world's largest archaeological museum, steps from the pyramids. See the complete Tutankhamun treasure (over 5,000 objects!), the 11-meter colossal Ramses II statue, the Hanging Obelisk, and 10 royal boats. Morning flight to Aswan. Experience the High Dam, an engineering marvel that tamed the Nile. Then take a motorboat to Philae Temple, dedicated to goddess Isis – sound & light whispers through the columns. Late afternoon board your 5★ or 4★ Nile cruiser with a welcome cocktail. Sunset felucca ride (optional) around Elephantine Island. Dinner followed by Nubian show on the sun deck.

Morning sail to Kom Ombo: the double temple dedicated to Sobek (crocodile god) and Horus (falcon god) – see preserved mummified crocodiles. Continue to Edfu by horse-drawn carriage (like an Egyptian movie!) to the Temple of Horus, best preserved cult temple in Egypt. After lunch, sail towards Luxor. After lunch, East Bank: Karnak Temple – the largest religious complex ever built (134 colossal columns, sacred lake). Then Luxor Temple illuminated by late afternoon light. Morning discovery of Old Cairo: the Hanging Church built above Babylon Fortress, Ben Ezra Synagogue (where baby Moses was said to be found), and Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque, the first in Africa. After lunch (own arrangement), dive into Khan El-Khalili Bazaar – haggle for lanterns, silver cartouches, and aromatic spices. Break for mint tea at the legendary El Fishawy café, open since 1773.
